Here's the flyer for our mid-November class. Our co-teachers at Swift River Farm have a lot of experience with this crop - they harvest hundreds of pounds each year, mostly for seed production. That means they've had the chance to find their favorit SVS served as a preceptor (supervising organization) for Becky Pruitt this summer as she completed internship rotations to become a registered dietician. Becky's capstone project was a series of hands-on cooking and nutrition demonstrations using loc One of our main food systems goals is to support the creation and expansion of local food production. We love to see opportunities like this aimed at beginning farmers and ranchers, who want to implement conservation practices that improve the land. The SVS Tool Library is still open for business! As we transition into winter, we've moved to Wednesdays, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., by reservation only for tool pickups and returns. We're happy to keep sharing tools with the community throughout the colde Recently Moose and Cameron hosted a night of mixing, eating, drinking and fun at The Hub - delving into the world of plant medicine as well as tasty flavors.
