Covid-19 Pandemic Response
Dear Friends, Partners and Supporters,

As we continue to face this pandemic and its unique challenges we have never experienced before, we are lifted by the incredible stories of how communities all over the world are working together to endure, support, learn and create within this complex reality. It is in that line of community resilience and solidarity that we find ourselves adapting to the needs of our rural region and the impacts of covid-19 on our home and hearts.
Salmon Valley Stewardship wants to be sure that our staff remains safe, healthy and able to attend to their families and any others in need. Our office is currently open to the public with limited hours. It is best to call in advance or schedule an appointment to assure one of our staff can be there. We also continue to work remotely and can easily communicate via phone, email, and zoom meetings. Our continued economic, social and ecological stewardship of our rural community and surrounding landscape is essential, especially in times like these and much of our programming is moving forward. However, like so many organizations, we have had to adapt quickly and explore different strategies for many of our in-person projects and programs.

Ultimately, we remain committed to serving our community here in the Salmon River region and want to do our part to help us all get through this. Communication is key and our staff are here to support your needs – we are a call, text or email away. We also want to encourage you to support community businesses and partners that are working to provide help to those in need – whether it be a meal, prescription or grocery pick-ups, a phone call to check in, or small business support - by working together we can ensure that those around us are not left without assistance.

Sincerely,
Toni Ruth and the staff of Salmon Valley Stewardship
