Youth Education Activities

Salmon Valley Stewardship offers engaging lessons and activities on a wide variety of ecological topics. For example, last year we visited classrooms to teach lessons on salmon life cycle, geology, wildlife, and ecology. Our classroom visits and/or field trips can be adapted to meet your specific scheduling needs, topics, and standards being taught. We can also help coordinate other guest speakers, particularly natural resource experts, to visit your class. Our content is place-based, and we cater to different learning styles by utilizing a variety of teaching methods such as group discussion, art and crafts, hands-on models, professional equipment, and games.
