Hands on the Land! Maps, compasses and more.

Another fabulous #Handsontheland field trip last week, filled with wayfinding, land navigation skills and blue skies! We spent the day with over 45 middle schoolers from the Salmon Jr/Sr High at the @sacajaweacenter, exploring maps, compasses, and so much more. Big thanks to Travis Seaberg and our partners & volunteers at the BLM for all your help and of course, Suzy Avey with the @sacajaweacenter. And so much gratitude goes to Rozina George for sharing knowledge of the wayfinding skills, science and technologies of the Shoshone-Bannock and AgaiDeka people.
