About the event

Fruit Tree Spraying 101

Join us for a free webinar covering orchard pest management. Topics include spraying equipment, calibration, application timing, and crop protection products as well as non-spraying options such as resistant varieties, insect netting and mating disruption.

The session will focus on managing key pests and diseases, including codling moth, fire blight, and western cherry fruit fly. Dr. Miller will review both conventional and organic spray programs as well as non spraying options.

We’ll also demonstrate how to use the Utah TRAPs web application, now featuring Salmon and Challis stations!  This resource helps you make pest management decisions based on pest life stages using local environmental data.

Information is relevant whether you have an orchard or just a couple backyard fruit trees. We will send full login details during the days leading up to the event.
